The fusion of two major reference communication groups in Europe (DeAgostini and Planeta) in 2000 gave rise to DeAPlaneta, one of the largest audiovisual companies in Spain, which generates and distributes fiction and documentary content, as well as creating, acquiring and distributing films for cinema and video.
Planeta Junior is aimed at entertainment for children and young people by means of content for television, cinema, DVD, VOD, books, licenses, promotions and publications, together with the creation of many entertainment products.
