Popular science, nature and guide books, often co-published

Pòrtic publishes popular science books, paying special attention to themes such as society, history, health, personal development, spirituality, guides for walkers and books on nature. It was founded in 1963 and three decades later became a part of the Grup Enciclopèdia Catalana. Its third phase began in 2007, the year in which it was incorporated into Grup 62. In 2008 the publishing company was relaunched with the creation of new collections.
