EDP editores

Major works in the spheres of education, culture, art and leisure

EDP editores, created in the year 2000, is the result of the union of the commercial networks of three of the main Spanish publishers: Espasa Calpe Grandes Obras, Difusora Internacional and Plaza & Janés Grandes Obras. This union allowed the creation of one of the most important direct and credit sales companies in the country. Its extensive publishing backlist, which contains the most prestigious national and international imprints (Espasa, Planeta DeAgostini, Difusora Internacional, Ebrisa, UNESCO, National Geographic, Britannica, Giunti, Franco Maria Ricci, etc.), allows the most demanding consumer needs to be covered. It ranges from the most prestigious encyclopaedias and the most comprehensive educational or information works, to the most rigorous and beautiful collections on art and history, combining craft products with facsimile reproductions of works from the Middle Ages with modern multimedia and online technologies.

EDP also commercialises non-attendance training courses in business management. Today it manages advanced programmes from the Continuing Training Institute of the University of Barcelona (IL3), from the Juan Carlos I University and from the EAE, in addition to different master’s degrees from this prestigious business school.
